Central 天主教 High 学校 makes Jesus known and loved. We educate the whole person for college and for life, with particular care for the least favored and those in need.

The Five Pillars of 马里斯特 Identity were introduced by the 马里斯特 Province in 2015 as ideals to which all 马里斯特s, students and adults alike, should commit to.

The Pillars are:

存在…… caring for each other, seeking relationships founded on love, being attentive and welcoming with a sense of openness

简单…… being straightforward and genuine, humble and modest, ‘doing good quietly’

Family Spirit… relating to each other as members of a loving family, building community, offering the warmth of welcoming, acceptance and belonging, sharing our successes and failures, setting clear standards of honesty, 相互尊重, 和宽容

热爱工作…… being generous of heart, 常数, and persevering in our daily work, 自信, 有远见的, decisive in meeting the needs of our community and encouraging each other to discover the dignity of our work with young people and with each other

In the Way of 3月y… seeing 3月y as a perfect model of being 马里斯特, 温柔的, strong, 常数 in faith, open to God’s calling us to our own journey of discipleship

All students participate in the 马里斯特 服务 Experience, in which Central 天主教 High 学校 students give service to those who need it most. Over 80% of CCHS students give well beyond 24 hours of service and continue to assist those in need.

The program grows from the mission of Central 天主教 High 学校: to make Jesus known and loved, to educate the whole person and to serve others, especially the least favored.

服务 projects and opportunities are designed to help students discover how they can make a difference in our world by leading and through building relationships with the least favored.

学生 often volunteer their time to assist the poor, 无家可归的人, 生病的人, 老年人, those in nursing homes or assisted living, as well as people who are mentally or physically challenged or have special needs.

We inspire our students to make a difference by serving, leading, and being people of integrity.

As a 马里斯特 兄弟thers’ school, we ask students to serve people most in need and grow in their relationship with God.

These 马里斯特 values are at the heart of the Central 天主教 experience and will be integral in shaping who they are and how they live.

每一天, students are given the opportunity to develop, 实践, and express their faith through activities that include daily prayer, prayer services, 礼拜仪式, 撤退, Christian service, volunteer programs at local shelters and soup kitchens, and various leadership opportunities.

Spiritual and moral growth are cultivated within each student as a key component of personal development.

While our Campus Ministry programs reflect our 马里斯特 heritage and the traditions of the Roman 天主教 Church, there are various faith traditions within our community, and the religious identities of our non-天主教 students are respected and affirmed.
